Lot of 5 Vintage Finesse Galway Stoneware Cereal/Chili Bowls

Description: Good Condition. I can see light colorless utensil marks, scuffs and scratches. These were definitely used over the years. They were somebody's favorite dishes obviously. I can see why as these bowls are a nice size for cereal or chili and they are sturdy with a nice glossy finish. One bowl has a glaze flaw of a black dot glazed over. The designs are intact and the colors are bright! The backs of each bowl are marked Stoneware Japan. I know these are Finesse Galway because they match the salad plates I have in a separate listing which are marked. I think these were made in the 1990s. They could be older, but I think they are the 1990s. Each of the 5 bowls measures 6 5/8 inches or 16.83 cm in diameter at the top rim. Each measures 3 inches or 7.62 cm in diameter at the foot rim. Each measures 2 1/8 inches or 5.397 cm deep. These wonderful everyday bowls are kind of scarce. I guess people just hand onto them because they are so useful so not many are ever listed. I have a husband who has way too many favorite cereal bowls and I just want these to get out of here before he finds them! So if you are looking to add to your set, don't miss these!
