Description: Lot of 21 Japanese Art Prints Folio 1945 - 1952 KYOTO JAPAN Found at an estate sale, a folder containing 21 art prints from Kyoto, Japan. Japan was occupied by American servicemen from 1945 - 1952, and this was a gift to those servicemen. You can read the presentation letter inside shown in the 5th photo. On the reverse of that letter is a map. The prints are mostly in very good condition. The outer folder is soiled and tattered. On the reverse of the folder is a Kyoto street map. Each print measures 14" by 10" and if you're interested in framing the print, the print image measures approx. 9" by 8".
