Description: This lot includes two vintage U.S Army wool blankets that were originally issued to soldiers. The dark olive green blanket measures 66" x 84" and the mustard yellow blanket measures 58" x 78". These blankets are perfect for collectors interested in militaria or anyone in need of durable and warm blankets. The olive green blanket is marked with "U.S." dead center for United States army. The blankets were made in the United States and are ideal for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and picnics. They have been previously used but are still in good condition. The wool material provides excellent insulation and will keep you warm even in cold weather. These blankets are a great addition to any collection and are versatile enough to be used in various settings. I'm not sure the year manufactured or which company made them as the tags must have been removed at some point. Based on comparing the dimensions and pictures to other known listed blankets i believe the green blanket is manufactured by Rothco between the years of 1950 -1960 and the yellow could be as old as WWII The blankets are in excellent preowned condition for their age with minimal wear from light use and storage. They were stored inside multiple thick plastic bags so no moths go to them. There are a few flaws and one possible bleach stain that I have pictured.
