Lot Hardcover Vintage Books by Charles Dickens (New York Hurst & Co Publishers)

Description: Hardcover Vintage Works of Charles Dickens, New York Hurst PublishingThere are 3 books in this lot by Charles Dickens. I tried to find a publication date within each of these books, but to no avail. To the best of my knowledge, they were published by New York Hurst and company at around 1889. Unfortunatley, I could not find books with covers similar to what is offered here. General Condition: Each book appears to be in really good condition considering their age. The spines appear to be in good shape and all of the pages seem to be intact. Book pages are yellowed/ browned and some of them have some minor nicks and minor tears - there is no writing on them. Book page edge shows signs of dust and yellowing. The book covers do not show any or significant damage, although some of the corners feel less ridged. Please review the attached photos for details Specific Condition details for each are as follows:The Life and Adventures of Nickolas Nickleby: This was his 3rd work and appears to be the cleanest of the three books in this lot. The pages seem good and have less wear along the edges. The book cover has some minor wear at the corners. A Tale of Two Cities: This one has some staining along the lower right corner of the page edge that appears to have come from a liquid spill. The stain cannot be seen on the pages themselves, just along the edge. The pages seem good as well, and have less wear. Great Expectations/ The Uncommercial Traveler: The pages seem fragile, and I noticed more wear, tears, and cutouts on them. Some pages may be loose. The preface art page is disconnected.
