Description: 3786SA2E.19 New Decorative Chrome (or Nickel) Plated Solid Brass Thumb Screws, 8-32 x 9/16" Serrated Head. Each bid quantity is for a Lot of Twenty-Five (25) Pieces. You may bid / buy any number of lots, up to the total quantity available above. These were purchased at an electronics supplier liquidation recently, and they were brand new in unmarked boxes. We packaged them in heavy Ziplok bags for resale. Testing with a file revealed that the base material is solid brass, with some kind of bright silver surface treatment. The ring on top of the head may be supposed to fit a special installation tool of some kind, or it may be just for giving them a flashy appearance. The finish looks almost too rich/subdued to be chrome, but it is not quite silvery enough to be nickel. It is either a dull chrome or bright nickel - you get to decide what to call it.
