IMO better choice than to use threaded adapter which might require removal of cotter pin and maybe spindle nut seat fully. The magnetic adapter is more universal, can be used on a variety of vehicles rather than getting specific adapters. Great satisfaction in knowing you can set your own specs and do it right rather than taking somebody elses word and paying for it! Yes, I recommend this product. I would buy this product again.
