Description: From the estate of actress Lois Nettleton, these are telegrams, notes and cards that were given, to honor her for a testimonial dinner by The Masquers and producer Joe Pasternak. The event was held in the summer of 1977. The congrats included here, come from producer Joe Pasternak (discolored envelope), actress Jane Wyatt, who wrote a jingle to be read, Jean Stapleton note of regret that she couldn't be there, a card from Will Geer (no envelope), telegrams from actor Buddy Ebsen, Anna and Lee Strasberg, World War II hero James A Doolittle (no envelope), and letter of regret from actor Brock Peters. Varying wear and discoloration on the cards and telegrams, but generally everything is in pretty good shape for its age. Obviously rare and kind of cool. Lois Nettleton passed away in 2008.
