Description: Listed 20th C. Italian Artist Nereo Zanco (1897-1969) Signed and Dated, on lower right, this Still Life, Flowers in a Vase. It is an Original Oil on Canvas board, from 1952 or 1953, we believe - the date has faded some. White roses sit in a low, round vase decorated with a design (like an onion dome) in blue. Among the roses seem to be a purplish flower along with green stems and leaves The table and background are covered with a flowing white fabric with folds and shadows. Simple composition yet still Delicate and Elegant. 1 3/4" Wide, Rounded, Antiqued Lemon Gold moulding with linear decoration on the inside and an angled Linen liner is included complimentary in this listing. Image opening measures 17 X 21 and is in Very Good Vintage condition.Outside measure of the frame is 20 1/2 X 24 1/2 and is in Very Good condition.Please carefully examine all images for condition.
