Description: Liquid Rubber Waterproofing and Protective Coating - Roll On White (1 Gallon, White) About this itemLiquid Rubber Waterproofing and Protective Coatings ProductInsulating, Ceramic Properties Great for Roofs and RV RoofsEPA Energy Star Rated, Resistant to Aging and UV ExposureLow VOC, Excellent ElongationSpread Rate: 60 sq ft/gal at 20 imperial milsFeedbackOk, first, read the directions before you start. Clean whatever you are applying it to thoroughly or it won't stick right. It states that multiple coats will be required. People who are complaining that it doesn't work right obviously didn't read the directions. I have had this on my rv roof for 2 years now and I walk around on my roof every month to sweep it and remove pine cones and branches that fall on my roof. No problems are ever found even though stuff falls on it. I applied 14 coats-a 5 gallon bucket to my 26 ft. Travel trailer. I used a roller to apply it and yes it goes on thin. Directions tell you to apply multiple coats for maximum protection. 2 coats a day until I used it all up. I have washed my roof 4 times with a scrub brush on a pole and roof doesn't peel just comes back clean and white. This stuff works as advertised as long as you do it right. UPDATE! 3 years on my rv roof now and I am still walking on it every week, pine cones and branches still hitting it, and all is good. Doesn't need any maintenance. Read the directions first and you won't have any problems. UPDATE! Trailer went thru hurricane sandy in a campground full of pine trees and guess what, NO DAMAGE . Roof full of debris and no damage. have used 2 gal. on cargo trailer roof. I used 3m 5200 along with screws to seal the 1/4 in. Plywood to the trailer frame work . I have used 2 gal. to cover aprox 105 Sq. Ft. I allowed it to flash off between coats. 7 coats using a short nap roller. Application was easy. I will update if any issues arise. It appears that this product will spot repair fairly easily if needed in the future. My only regret is not using marine grade Plywood as the glue is the same but I had issues with voids in the lamination of the "CD" grade Plywood. Note : I also used polyester resin with fibreglass tape to join the Plywood sheeting at the 4ft. seams making the joints at the roof ribbing.Looks good at this time. I only want to do this once! Definitely better than the garbage sheet metal that the manufacturer used.
