Description: This is a Vintage Lipper and Mann Ceramic Blue and Yellow Striped Bow Tie Kitty Cat Figurine, made in the 1950s in Japan. The mother cat figurine has a kitschy figural form and features an anthropomorphic aqua blue and yellow striped sitting kitty with a bow tie. It is likely that at one point this cat had chains attached to its neck that connected two or more baby cats. There is a remnant of metal wire in the bow. The ceramic cat measures approximately 6.25" long x 3" wide x 6.25" tall and is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks. Original Lipper and Mann foil sticker attached to underside. Light crazing present throughout. There are a few areas where there is misapplied paint smudging UNDER the glaze--a result of the manufacturing process. Please see pictures for details.
