Here is a nice looking vintage Lionel O and O27 Gauge train set from 1952, consisting of a large die cast metal 2056 "Hudson Type" 4-6-4 locomotive, matching whistle tender, and 4 assorted freight cars. Every item in this set was first offered by Lionel in 1953. The 685 steam locomotive is a bit hard to find as it was produced in 1952 only! Like any 70 plus year old used toy, there are some small nicks, chips, scratches, and cosmetic issues. Still makes a nice appearance, not beat up or play worn looking. Bright colors and graphics. Locomotive ran when tested. Like most vintage Lionel, reverse unit can be a bit finicky. Has been in storage, would be advisable to clean and lube before using much. Sold as shown in pictures. These are vintage display and collector's items sold as a project for the knowledgeable adult hobbyist. These are old and will often need tinkering and TLC.
