Lionel Postwar 2018 Adriatic Type 2-6-4-Locomotive terrific

Description: Being offered is a Lionel Postwar 2018 Adriatic Type 2-6-4-Locomotive that has been restored to about out of the box condition. The locomotive has the following features: detailed driving-wheel hardware, three-position E-unit, smoke, and light. All of these operate perfectly after a comprehensive overhaul of the entire unit down to the last nut and bolt including finish, reface armature, brushes, wiring, E-unit, smoke mechanism (new technology liquid smoke), lubrication, to mention a few. Its appearance is spectacular and one will look long and hard to find a 2018 loco as great! Much resource has been expended to achieve this. The price may exceed others but consider the mechanical and esthetic condition. REMEMBER for a nickel more you can go first class. I have repaired since 1971 . I knew a furniture restorer who did work like yours, he would work with Q tips for an hour on an area the size of two postage stamps. I wish I knew what chemicals he used . My hat is off to your work. People don't understand how much time and talent work like this takes, and that effort costs money. You do masterful work. Once again, I am nearly speechless at how absolutely beautiful these three locomotives are. They look like they just walked out of the Hillside plant in New Jersey seventy-some years ago. For some strange reason, I have never owned a 675 prairie-type Lionel before. And your 2056 hudson actually looks nicer than my conventional classics hudsons. You are truly a skilled craftsman as you work your magic on these old trains. They have a certain mystique about them that the modern Lionels Don't seem to have.
