This is one of Lionel's colectible motorized units that were produced in the postwar years. The 59 Minuteman is one of the more desirable and slightly hard to find units since it was only made in 1962 and 1963. Features include a die-cast frame, and open rame motor, a 3-position reverse unit, a decorative horn, metal side rods, operating metal knuckle couplers and metal wheels.
