I was born in Shantou, China, in 1962. I came to the United States, as a PhD student, in 1990. I have been working as a software engineer since 1996. And I always enjoy making Chinese calligraphy and painting in my free time. In 2012, I had a solo art exhibition at the Kalmanson Gallery, Swainsboro, GA. In the same year, I moved to Atlanta, and became one of the four founding members of the Atlanta Association of Chinese Calligraphy. I have been selling my art at eBay since 2001. I am grateful to the eBayers who bought my paintings! About My Art My art is mainly Chinese brush painting, on which Japanese's sumi-e is based. In addition to Chinese/Japanese black ink, I use watercolor, acrylic, and other colors. I like using minimal strokes, believing "less could be more".
