Other than that it works fine and is most likely an easy fix given that the sound isn't heard when turning it slightly as it spins. This carousel was a prize given by the creators of Liberty Falls if the collector in question managed to collect a specific amount of houses in the dozens making it an exclusive part of the Liberty Falls collection.
