Description: This Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x 40mm Rifle Scope was updated by Premier Reticle to a 18-40x magnification. This was used by a competition shooter in NRA tournaments. It has a Fine Crosshair Target Dot reticle and Sunshade. I've left all the NRA competition tournament stickers he put on the scope over the years because frankly it's about the coolest looking scope I've ever owned. Premier has not upgrade reticle since 2013. This scope was made in 1984 and upgraded in the early 1990s. Leupold and Premier Reticle originally formed a relationship to provide sniper optics to the US Army. The reticle on this scope is as bold, bright, crisp and clear as any I have looked through. Premier no longer upgrades Leupold scopes. There's a reason these were used by many competition shooters. Please see the pictures. Thanks for looking!
