This Leitz Dialux 20 was made Wetzlar and is designed for long microscopy sessions by the new owner. Perfect for clinical sample screening and pathological studies. Great plan fluorite set includes 2.5x scanner (achromat) and flatfield fluorite set (great contrast and increased numerical aperture compared to any cheap achromats from PacRim) 6.3x, 16x, 40x and 100x oil. Note how each mag increases by a factor of 2.5 as you go from the 2.5x to the 6.3x etc. High eyepoint 10x widefield adjustable oculars.XY mechanical stage with coaxial right hand controls. SK 0.90 achromatic condenser with swing-out top lens for use with the 2.5x and 6.3x. Our own 3D printed polarized light kit includes polarizer, first order red (see photo) and analyser slider with dual filter holder that clamps to the condenser bracket. Optics mounted on nosepiece with increased 1.25x tube factor. BATWING soft rubber/foam "ergo" ARMREST. 100W quartz halogen lamp with USA-made transformer and two spare bulbs.In between the lamp and the Dialux 20 you will see a rare Variolum....this is a fiber optic light blender that provides excellent "scrampled" light for even illumination at all mags. The slider includes a filter set RGB as well as an aperture to allow changes of light intensity without changing the color temperature. Very important to avoid grey or yellow background in your photos. Set the power supply at 10.5V (3200K) and then move the slider up and down as needed to get the exposure you need. Get a comfortable chair and work table and you will be able to work for extended periods without neck, back or arm discomfort. Our own modified SWISS-made MPS shutter piece all set up to add your own T-mount adapter and DSLR/MILC. Full-frame 35mm sized sensor digital cameras (check out the newest global shutter full frame 24MP Sony Alpha 9/III MILC - more expensive than this entire microscope rig!).
