The rim is semi-round, with a generous .663" inside diameter. The cup depth is similar to Bach D (medium shallow). The throat is an open #25, combined with the broad-sounding Legends Chicago backbore. The Big Daddy blank adds mass to give the sound more core and a darker tone. This mouthpiece is perfect for a rich, melodious sound without sacrificing the flexibility needed for quick technical jazz solos and classical symphonic pieces.
