Description: This is an old LeBlond metal lathe. I have confirmed it runs on 3-phase, so it "works", but it also clearly needs servicing and love. I don't know much about it, other than it would be a real shame to actually scrap it, but I don't need it and it's taking up floor space. Local Pickup in Chicago only, I have a forklift on my end, it weighs approximately 2500 pounds. Note that the drive belts are old and worn, so while I can demonstrate that it works and spins and sounds fine, *some* work would need to be done to actually turn metal on it (at *least* new drive belts, cleaning and oiling, etc). It does have some kind of adjustable clutch (based on the plate that says "remove to adjust clutch"). See photos to determine capacity, I've pulled a tape on relevant aspects of the machine. As you can see from the pictures, there are various wrenches, tailstock components, and etc. These were piled on top the lathe, but may or may not "go with it" (ie there could be components that don't belong to this lathe). I've listed this as local pickup in Chicago only - if you are not in Chicago, and want to sort out someone to haul it from me to you, we have a street height loading dock area (no truck height dock, and it's too heavy for most lift gates). I do have access to a forklift, but any shipping would be on the buyer to sort out.
