LEADED GLASS SHADE WHEEL IN PATINA 5 1/2" FIT TIFFANY & OTHERS 24"-26" DIAMETER

Description: For auction is a wheel made especially for original Tiffany Studios, New York shades that require this size. The wheel is done in in patina. The inside diameter of the wheel is 4 15/16" and the outside bottom diameter is 5 1/4".This wheel displays a Verdi green brown patina. This wheel was designed for Tiffany Studios lamps that were usually 20" to 24" in diameter or have an opening in the top or aperture in the top of the shade that is between 4 15/16" to 5 1/4". You can use this combo on other early manufacturers shades such as Wilkinson, Duffner & Kimberly, Unique, Bradley + Hubbard, Handel, Pairpoint, Miller, Pittsburgh as long as their opening is the same. This wheel is designed to be hard mounted to any base that has a 3/8" pipe for the wheel to screw down on. The shade then sits on the wheel and the cap with a 8/32" thread locks the shade to the base when you screw the cap into the reducer which sits in the middle of the wheel. If you are using a Teardrop 5" Heat Cap then you don't need these parts. The reducer pictured does not come with the wheel unless you request it.The quality level is that of Tiffany Studios, New York quality. So if you have an original Tiffany shade that requires the use of this wheel and have been unable to find an original look no further!! This looks like the real deal! This is an increase of 9.1% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 12% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges. If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
