A whimsical composition that combines the hard and smooth texture of glass with organic fibers. The design within the glass vessel has organic swirling lines which mimic the fibers on the handle. Earthtone colors with splashes of turquoise in the glass continues in the turquoise stones found around the lip of the vase. The interplay of elements creates a unique juxtaposition. Per the artist, “I wake up in the morning where I live, and I walk outside and look at all my plants - massively inspiring. I put out the garbage, I look at the garbage - massively inspiring.
