Description: Fantastic rare late 40’s bowling shirt. In remarkably good condition. I believe this is rayon. Not the rayon known in 40’s Hawaiian shirts. Although it is light weight, very cool when wearing I’m sure. Also the collar is 40’s in size and shape but with visible stitching. The name Lou above one front pocket and G - 1 in large size on back. You may have noticed the cut in the shoulders is on a curve. The shirt drapes beautifully because of it but makes normal shoulder measurements unhelpful. I would say if you wear a 40R or L or a 38R or L sport coat size and are a bit tall this will fit well. Length from collar to hem down the middle back is 30”. And it s not supposed to be tucked in. Please examine all photos as they are an important part of the description.
