A red and pink feather design compliment the border. Larry Rivers was an artist, musician, and filmmaker who is recognized by many as a founder of the Pop Art movement. Born as Yitzroch Loiza Grossberg, he later changed his name to Larry Rivers while working as a jazz saxophonist under the band name "Larry Rivers and the Mudcats." He studied at the Hans Hofmann school and was a graduate of New York University's Art Education program in 1951.
