Description: Beautifully hand-embroidered Map of the USA, heavy muslin fabric with red stitch-work outlining the states. There are 2 small buttonholes on each state so a ribbon can be threaded through to tie a souvenir from that state in place. (It originally held souvenir dolls which dated back to the 1930s). Would look great in a rec-room or man cave. Piece measures 66" tall x 79" across. Very unique and one-of-a-kind! Map is in good vintage condition. The red stitching looks great but there are some stains on the muslin fabric. It is over 90 years old, so that's not surprising, and in all honesty, I think the stains are there to stay. But it would be a neat statement piece, especially as travel trinkets are added.
