Description: LARGE VICTORIAN GOLD PLATED BROOCH WITH 4 APPLIIED FLOWERS WITH WHITE CENTERS & C-CLASP2-5/8" x 2" brooch is beautiful, the center is open in the center (about 1-1/2X 1-1/8"), allowing the color of the fabric you are wearing to come through. It has the old style c-clasp, with the pin protruding just a little beyond the edge of the frame, typical of Victorian era jewelry. I do not know if the 4 white stones - one in the center of each flower - are beads made of glass or a natural material like a pearl. They are very tiny. One looks like it is either set at an angle or broken - see the last 2 photos. I did not notice it until I took the closeup photos, because the stones are only about 1/8". Otherwise, it is in excellent pre-owned condition, as shown.
