It is carefully excavated from A New Dig Fossil Quarry in Utah, in the world renown House Range's Wheeler Shale Formation, and is nearly 550 million years old. It is 100% natural, black, thick, and jewellery grade. This ancient arthropod is a prime example of the rich history of our planet, and wonderful addition to any rock and fossil collection, or could be fashioned into a piece of jewellery by a lapidary artist/silversmith.
