Description: The thing that sets our bowls apart is the FINISH. It's not a "dull wood" finish. We have a special aging wax finish that we apply to all of our bowls. It takes an already distressed bowl and makes it look OLD and WARM and very primitive. And it STAYS that way for the life of the bowl. It is smooth to the touch and it is beautiful. This is Dough Bowl Trencher 2936. Rick distressed and waxed it multiple times with our special bees wax formulation to achieve a wonderfully primitive look. It's A Multiple layer process. (and therefore NOT suitable for rolling dough or storing "raw" foods in) Measures 22" Long. 11 1/4" wide and it stands 2 3/8" to 2 1/2" tall (depending on where you measure because remember......it's a hand carved piece). It weighs FIVE pounds.IF YOU need a LARGER one, check out the really GIANT ones we've just listed. See the hand carved rasp AND saw marks in the wood (Rick leaves those rather than sanding them smooth) for a beautiful primitive look. Nice piece has been carved out of ONE SOLID Piece of (Mountain Pine) wood. It is smooth to the touch.
