Description: A large cabochon of carnelian with a deep, rich color polished smooth and bezel set surrounded by bright silver double spirals. This pendant is an impressive size with bright high points and dark oxidized low points. The carnelian is a deep orange/brown, the closed back setting giving it a rich darkness. An easy-to-wear piece with a pleasing weight, its large size gives it the feeling of a talisman. Carnelian is said to boost confidence, renew vitality, and aid in self-expression. The double spiral represents balance. Circa 1980. Measurements: Pendant has a diameter of 1.73", 2.19" with bale, and has a depth of roughly 0.43". Condition: Pendant is slightly misshapen, and has a small dent on the back. Metal shows normal wear otherwise. Used/Vintage.
