Description: UP for sale is a very high quality antique hand carved Chinese malachite stone sculpture.It's carved out of a solid natural piece of green malachite and done with an extreme high level of craftsmanship.It features a bird perched on the top of the sculpture with a stylized foo lion/dragon emerging underneath.The sculpture sits recessed into a hand carved and brass inlaid wooden base and in good condition.The statue alone measures 8 1/2" tall x 9 5/8" long x 4" wide sitting on the stand.It has one tiny chip at the top as shown in last photo and a seam on the bird feathers.
