Description: Antique French copper roasting, baking or Bain Marie pan This large size pan would originally have been used in a professional kitchen. It has a sturdy cast iron handle at each end, firmly fixed with copper rivets and the pan is tin lined. It is formed from one sheet of copper and finished with an attractive roll top. Approx. dimensions - 68cm W x 58cm D x 7cm H / Weight 7.5kg / Width including handles 82cm It is in good well used antique condition with associated marks and wear. It has had a good repair in one corner at some point and is watertight. It has a slight rock diagonally but will not tip. The tin lining is darker in parts which happens through use. There is no copper bleed. A really impressive pan with lots of history, this would be fine to use and would make a real statement as part of any kitchen cookware collection. The items I sell are in a used antique or vintage condition. This means they may have related flaws or defects.
