Description: NICE VINTAGE JAPANNED SLIDE BOLT LATCH w/ KEEPER - TERRIFIC (19611-27)Nice original slide bar, Japanned finish, could be new old stock as the spring for the slide bolt is still very strong. Uncommon and very hard to find. Knob slides back and forth to allow the door to be opened. Functioning just fine, overall width of both pieces when in place is 5", length of the mechanism is 4" width is 1 15/8", bolt housing by itself is 4" long. Very nice piece!! The knob is probably brass, can see some verdigris has accumulated there that will come off when polished. One small spot on the back edge visible in the second picture.
