The boards show normal wear and slight discoloration in places but over not too bad. The outer edges of the pages show foxing -slight soiling from age and handling. The inside pages are clean- no writing. Two pages near the center have been ripped and some of the pages are torn in pieces- see pics- not sure whether the two pages are all there and can be taped or not. The back inside spine area has separated a bit but still intact. There are a number of nice black and white plates or prints throughout the book- see pics. This is a rare volume and difficult to acquire! It is the original 1918- not a recent copy!
