Description: L-P (12P-14P) real SHEARED BEAVER fur swing car coat, knee-length jacket, phantom sheared beaver, browns, pretty! wonderful vintage find (#2503-e) You'll be turning heads in this luxurious, soft (ombre) SHEARED BEAVER SWING jacket car coat. This jacket design is vintage, functional and gorgeous ... and proportioned PETITE! What else can a lady ask for? Even the most severe winter weather is no match for this SHEARED BEAVER SWING coat jacket with it's longer length and classic luxury. If you're not familiar with SHEARED BEAVER, the fur is commercially shaved/sheared to remove the longer, shiny, coarse guide hairs from the BEAVER pelts. The result is a uniform length (approx .5") fur fibers that are SUPER SOFT and feel like VELVET. The ombre coloring is called "phantom" ... this is a rare look and much sought after. In the case of these pelts the colors flow from light brown to dark brown. Features a classic spread collar, long/wide sleeves that hang straight to the wrist. Generously cut arm holes for ease of movement ... front closure is a single heavy-duty furrier's hook/eye closure. All of the fur is in EXCELLENT condition ... no stiffness, no smells, no tears, no shedding. DARK BROWN polyester lining is in NEWLY REPLACED/FLAWLESS condition with no holes, stains or other imperfections. This NEW LINING doesn't have any initials the coat's original owner and the original furrier's label is also gone. Whoever replaced the lining did a very nice job of it! This is in wonderful vintage condition, perfectly clean and ready to be the best "statement piece" in your closet to your winter!
