Description: Hello I am reselling this lens I bought on eBay because the mount does not fit my camera. Please make sure that it fits your camera and please ask me questions if you are unsure, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have since I will not be accepting returns. The lens comes with a different front lens cap than the one pictured. Here is the description from the original listing:Super rare and has been handled with great care! This lens was bought years ago on ebay - phototekcanadainc (phototekcanada.com - check them out, they have really nice stuff). They suggested I get in touch with the C7 Adapters company to purchase a cameflex to m4/3 adapter ($200+) to use this lens with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. This is included - new - with the retail box it came with. The result was incredible. We were preparing to shoot a 'closet creature' horror film and the closet was double door wide. We were 5 feet from the doors and could see the entire opening and then some. Creature would have been up close and terrifying at the same time.Unfortunately/fortunately, my son was selected for FSU's film school and all the equipment I had bought for this project was laid to rest, until now. Info I've found:“The Kubrick”I always marveled at how Stanley Kubrick chose his lenses considering he created some of the most visually stunning images ever exposed to film. After visiting his exhibit at the LACMA, multiple times, I saw this very odd looking lens in the display case. The lens in question was the Kinoptik 9.8 F2.3.Kubrick filmed much of A Clockwork Orange using this lens and the maze scene in The Shining. So after doing some research, I discovered that the Kinoptik 9.8 F2.3 had a Super 16mm little brother, the beautifully odd Kinoptik 5.7mm F1.8. The lens DOES NOT include any square filters, although it does have the filter drawer if you choose to purchase these on your own.
