First state with Viking ship on half-title, in first issue dust jacket with the author photo credited to "Hank Krangler," and two lines of biographical information about Kesey on rear flap. Book is VG+/VG, book is gently read, free of wear or marking, retains a tight binding, black jacket does not show usual fading but has a chip missing top of spine, DJ is not clipped ($7.50) and protected in a mylar protector.
