The Kartboy shifter is constructed of CNC’d and TIG welded 4130 Cr-Mo steel. With proper hand tools installation should take right around 30 minutes. Please note for you WRX owners, that this is the correct shifter for you. This will fit in the 2002-2007 Subaru WRX with the factory shifter assembly only. If your car has the upgraded SPT/STI short shifter package, you will need to purchase the KB-001 part number. The easiest way to tell this is by pulling down your factory shift boot and looking at the color of the lever. If it is a gold zinc plated lever, then you have the STI option installed.
