This print was made posthumously, likely by his family using the original woodblocks. Kawano was unique in that he carved his own woodblocks. Beautiful wood grain textures and tonality. Ink is very good, vibrant and rich. Awesome MCM Japanese modernist style. Print and matte are extremely clean. Matte measures 17 1/2"h x 12 3/4"h.
