Description: This book was given to my husband in 1948 per dedication on endpaper. It shows wear. Corners are worn, bottom and top of spine are worn. Spine picture in gold is nearly gone as shown in photo. Hinges are tight but are glued. One place in middle is starting to separate at signature. Book has 52 black and white illustrations. There are 305 pages in total. Scribner's made sets of Jules Verne writings and sold them as a set called Scribner's Uniform Edition. There are a few very small smudges on a few pages but overall the pages are clean and not marked nor dog-eared.
