Description: Measuring about 5-3/4" x 8-1/2", and 261 pages long, this hardback book is "Mister Johnson" by Joyce Cary. Published by Harper & Brothers, it is stated to be the First Edition. Although it appears to be undated, the code letters "H-A" on the copyright page indicate August, 1951. It is in very good and readable condition, but with corner bumps and some tears and edge wear at the spine. Also some marks and stampings and pasted-on paper remnants on both end papers.
