This Lovely Place Setting consists of a 10" Dinner Plate, an 8" Salad Plate, a 6. 3" Cereal Bowl, Cup and Saucer and features ivory - colored porcelain decorated in red with scenes from everyone's favorite Christmas story - 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore. Each different item from this Series has a different scene with different parts of the story - the Dinner Plate reads: "Twas the Night Before Christmas when all through the house", the Salad Plate reads: "The Stockings were hung by the Chimney with care, in the hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there", the Cereal Bowl reads: " the moon on the breast of the new - fallen snow gave a lustre of midday to objects below," and the Cup reads: " When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer."
