Entwistle no doubt was thrilled to be the bass guitarist for such a successful band, Entwistle had voiced his discontent with the Who family about the lackj of outlets for his songs, and this perhaps informed their label, Track Records, to sanction a recording a budget for a solo album. The first two albums sold well enough to merit a return to the studio for a third album. Entwistle's third solo album, released in May 1973, was dedicated to rock 'n' roll covers (Hound Dog, Lucille and Mr. Bass Man) as well as John's own take on the genre. It also features his own version of his Who classic "My Wife. . Ring Wear if any, seam and spine intact but not Pristine.Very Good/Very Good Plus (VG/VG+) - More obvious signs of wear and handling, LP has surface noise that is noticeable in some spots but perhaps is quiet and clean in other spots, clicks and pops will be heard, but will not significantly disrupt the music. Cover Sleeve shows more obvious Ring Wear or marks/staining, seams may have cracking, minor seam splitting or some missing spine text but are still fairly well intact.
