Description: The crown jewel in my Blues Brothers memorabilia collection isn’t a rare piece of movie related merchandise or promotional items. In fact it’s a very unique item signed by Belushi during the Chicago filming schedule of The Blues Brothers (July-October 1979) for a Chicago Police Officer in the 18th District (Old Town) who would run into Belushi and Aykroyd from time to time. Belushi would also use him and his partner as a taxi once in awhile. The item is a Chicago Police Department ticket book signed by John Belushi during one to those said taxi rides. The first ticket written in that book was August 20th, 1979 and the last ticket was written on October 25th, 1979, which certainly fits within the timeframe. Authentic Belushi autographs of any kind are few and far between, so I’m especially pleased that mine was done in Chicago during the filming of The Blues Brothers on a Chicago Police Department ticket book. This is truly a one of a kind item, one of which you’ll never see again. This item is BAS certified authentic and graded as Mint - 9: Centering: 55/45 both ways on front. 70/30 or better on back. Corners: Mint upon close inspection. A speck of wear is allowed under intense scrutiny. Edges: Virtually Mint to the naked eye. Unobtrusive specks of chipping on the borders are allowed. Surface: A handful of printing specks or one minor spot. Very minor focus or color imperfections. Clean gloss with one or two tiny scratches barely noticeable to the naked eye. One faint, unobtrusive metallic print line is allowed. Sold as is no returns, full payment required before item will ship.
