Description: Absolutely beautiful platter with a stag or elk. I’m not sure. This is a very difficult piece to find and research. Made by Joanne Seltmann, Vohenstrauß , the marking on the back indicates that it was produced somewhere between 1955 and 1995. The rim is gold and the piece is in really lovely condition. The only thing I could see was on the footing, there looks like a popped bubble, not a chip, but something done in its manufacturing. This platter is 14” x 9”.
