Later (early 1810s? her first child Theresa was born in 1815), she married Friedrich Joseph Theodor Baron von Fahnenberg-Burgheim, chamberlain at the court of Grand Duchy Baden and envoy of Baden at the court in Munich (see our image nr.7). Her birth name was Maria Magdalena, Freiin (Baroness) of Ditterich-Schoenhofen. She was the daughter of Bavarian privy councilor and professor - Franz Georg von Ditterich-Schoenhofen (1745-1812; see our images nr.8-9). This good quality pastel portrait is a very typical work of well-known Bavarian, 19th-century artist Johann-Baptist Hirschmann (for comparison, see our two last photographs). Johann Baptist Hirschmann (1770 Burgkundstadt, Germany - 1829) was a member of a famous German artist family of the 17th - 19th century. He began as a miniaturist and pastel painter in Den Haag, was also active in Bamberg, Hamburg, Regenburg, etc., and exhibited in Munich and Augsburg. His works belong to collection of the Kupferstichkabinett Dresden, Bavarian National Museum in Munich and other German museums.
