Description: Jimmy Hendrix limited edition serigraph/silkscreen print by famed rock photographer Gered Mankowitz displayed at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from 1995 until they closed in 2020. This amazing piece of Rock N Roll history is embossed on the bottom left and says, "An Original and Authenticated ink icon Limited Edition" and embossed on the bottom right with "The Gered Mankowitz Archive" stamp. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas along with a small display plaque, that reads, "Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas 1995-2020". This photograph was taken by the legendary and iconic music photographer Gered Mankowitz in London 1967 and titled "Jimi Hendrix, Smoking". This silk screen print was created for The Hard Rock in Las Vegas and was framed and put on display a full 5 years before the more common limited edition numbered prints that were released and sold by (and sold out by) Mankowitz in 2000. This image has since been mass produced in poster form. This item however, is an original framed piece of art, authenticated by the now closed Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, and is truly a piece of Rock & Roll and Las Vegas Casino history.
