Description: Offered is a distinctive and collectible 500 piece jig saw puzzle From our Eric Dowdle Collection Barcelona, Spain From an original artwork by Eric Dowdle An enchanting seaside city with colorful and whimsical architecture. Front center is Park Güell. It is part of the public park system designed by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí i Cornet. Highlights of the design include a long mosaic bench in the foreground in the form of a sea serpent. Just beyond the bench are the 2 main buildings that flank the entrance to the park. featuring remarkable shaped roofs and unusual pinnacles in keeping with the flamboyance of other buildings designed by Gaudi. In the upper left is the Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, also designed by Gaudi. The corner stone was laid in 1884 but best estimates are that it will not be finished until 2026. Each puzzle in the International series celebrates the unique and varied cultures that populate the world. As you complete additional puzzles you will experience the excitement of discovery as you explore the places of your ancestors. OR A reminder of home for those of us who have wandered far.
