Description: This is the original protype of the political pin that was designed for the National Democratic Commitee in 1963. This pin was the design for a lapel pin for the 1964 Kennedy election. The pin pictured K 64 with the rocking chair that JFK liked to sit in. My father, H.W. Brawley, was the Deputy Post Master General under JFK then was the vice chairman of the DNC at the time when the items were being designed.Of, course President Kennedy was assassinated before the campaign was started and the pin was never massed produced. It is in the original box also. This piece has been among my personal family treasures, but I am now I am 81 and would like to find it a new home.I also listed separately a prototype of a small license plate that was also suggested. A truly unique item and would be an outstanding item to any JFK collection. I will include a letter from me as to its history and it authentication, as my father's daughter. I will pay for insurance and shipping charges.
