Remove all traces of oil. The gaskets must be installed DRY (NO OIL OR LUBE OF ANY TYPE). TORQUE TO 20-25 INCH POUNDS **Do not over tighten** It causes the gasket to squeeze or bulge out. Silicone gaskets should not bulge or "pooch out". If this happens, then back off on the torque. TO REUSE GASKET: Wash gasket briefly in hot water and soap. Rinse gasket off and dry thoroughly.
