Description: This listing is for one (1) good used connecting rod with good used piston, for STD bore. This piston and rod will fit all Jeep 4.0 engines from 1987 - 2006 with the proper bore, but must match the other pistons and rods to prevent vibration. The rods in this listing are casting number 548 with 1996 - up style OE pistons attached. Make sure you are getting the right components for your engine. If you have questions, we can answer them. The pistons and rods have been washed, inspected for cracks, and wire wheeled to remove carbon buildup. Although we wash all of our parts before shipping them out, some may have small deposits or discoloration from years of dirt and grime still remaining.
