This is the watch that started the pilot chronograph. Huge 37mm case for the time period. This one was likely military used due to the sterile dial which is in ABSOLUTELY AMAZING condition. It was never officially issued to the military, but it was an aviation watch sold by the US Army and Navy Canteen (PX). Many Army aviators and staff purchased and used these. It's a cockpit instrument on your wrist. The countdown bezel sets the flight time to the hour hand and measures the remaining time. Inside the tachymeter, there is a red letter notation from 15 to 180 and a circle line. The standard rotation speed is 3 per second, and the turn angle can be measured during flight by activating the chronograph function and measuring the elapsed seconds. A very rare and unique notation that makes this model special. The dial of the black gilt has a nice black color with a glossy finish. The Arabic numeral Luminous and the essential red letters are not missing and can be clearly confirmed. The dial and bezel specifications make us think of an analog era that meets the demands of pilots. It is an interesting product with an approach not found in Garrett and Breitling.
